The founders of Keramics bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the company. With extensive training in all major tile installation systems, they have successfully completed thousands of projects—large and small—while collaborating with architects, designers, builders, remodelers, and homeowners. Their deep knowledge and hands-on experience make them well rounded for all types of jobs.
Thomas Green
CO-FOUNDER
Thomas Green began his career in remodeling at a small company serving the Capitol Hill area of Washington, D.C., where he was exposed to residential projects. He later transitioned to a larger flooring and tile installation company, focusing on sales and gaining deep insight into surface covering installation. During this time, Thomas managed jobs with a high output of installed square footage. As the COVID-19 pandemic led to an industry shift toward high-volume, profit-driven businesses, Thomas recognized that customer service was becoming secondary. Motivated by a desire to offer more than just financial success, he decided to branch out and establish his own company, Keramics, with a focus on providing high-quality work alongside exceptional customer service.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys hiking through national parks, immersing himself in nature. He always carries a fly fishing rod, ready to seize any opportunity to catch trout along the way.
Jorge Ramos
CO-FOUNDER
Jorge’s career began with large-scale contractors in the region, where he gained invaluable experience working on major commercial projects, including both privately funded ventures and those commissioned by local and state governments. He later took on a leadership role as the head of tile installation at a prominent flooring and tile company, where he successfully managed operations for several years. Recognizing the opportunity to make a unique impact, Jorge co-founded Keramics. With his profound expertise in the field, Jorge maintains strong relationships with some of the industry’s leading manufacturers of setting materials, such as Schluter, Mapei, and Custom. He is often invited to visit their factories and facilities across the U.S., further enhancing his extensive knowledge.
In his free time, Jorge is passionate about soccer and can often be found watching games whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys off-roading adventures in his Toyota Tacoma, which he proudly calls "the best car ever built."
Jorge and Thomas joined forces to create a business that stands apart, with a clear focus on delivering top-tier tile installation, outstanding customer service, and transparent communication. Their ultimate goal is to become the tile installer of choice for all their clients with long term relationships.
